Functie Discovery Data Sciences (DS) is part of the In Silico Discovery department within Therapeutics discovery. It is responsible for providing data analytics and AI/ML support to the discovery portfolio of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, from Hit Identification phase up to Late Lead Optimization. In DS, we are a global group of AI/ML experts with diverse backgrounds that supports all disease area project teams with pioneering predictive models aiming to reduce attrition and drive design-make-test cycles.

As an Applied Mathematician intern your job is to apply the theoretical and applied knowledge that you gathered during your studies in real world problems that could help Drug Discovery. More specifically, you will be embedded in a global and highly diverse data science team and help carry out topological data analysis of high dimensional data

* Mathematical modeling of high dimensional data.

* Exploratory topological analysis of response surface(s).

* Communication of results in a wider audience.
